Las Vegas/Zion Trip

I just got back from a weekend trip to Las Vegas and Zion National Park. Let's talk about Las Vegas first. The best thing about it is the grand scale of...well, everything. Towering hotels, endless casinos, enormous fountains, giant statues, even some drinks come with a strap that you can put on your neck to help you hold it up. The themes of each hotel are very well done. Overall you could say that Vegas as a whole has the theme of naked women, alcohol, and giving money to hotels. If you think about it, the extravagance and wonder of everything there wouldn't exist if not for these things. Just accept it for what it is I guess.

This was my second Vegas experience as an adult. I would want to go back to stay in a different nicer hotel. I did love the beds that the Stratosphere gave us. But we walked, walked, and walked. Including the Zion part of our trip it was 3 days of hiking really. My legs are sore, sore, sore. I think Vegas is a great place for dining too. I would really only want more time there to be able to

If forced to choose I would say I love Caesar's Palace and Treasure Island the best. If I were to pick up a gambling habit I'd do it at Caesar's. I think it's the Roman statues and the giant scale of everything. See for yourself

  1. Does Caesar's even have swim-up bars at their pools? If not, just don't bother. I've found that if drunk, naked, fat people can't even get a decent drink WITHOUT having to get out of the pool, it's just not worth going. Actually, in all seriousness, I would love for a hotel to have a swim-up grill, just so that I can get thick steak fries and drink lime grenadine straight from the bottle.
